Aluminaut. The sub could dive deeper and longer than Alvin, but was less maneuverable.
Alvin. Longtime mechanic George Broderson affectionatelycompared the sub to a toilet bowl.
The bright-yellow Cubmarine worked well, but could only dive to 600 feet.
